About Aimbere Residence Gebai

Unique Properties
Aimberê in Tupi-Guarani, the language of the Indians of the southern region of Brazil, means 'one who squirms (turns)'. the building seeks to reflect this dynamism and the movement of Nature, with a contemporary architecture. The choice for a differentiated residential product has been a conviction of the developer and the architectural firm since their first studies.
Volumetrically, the building consists of a large vertical monolith in which its balconies have their axes displaced, giving a twisted sensation. As for the distribution of uses, all parking spaces and most of the technical areas of the building are located in the back of the building, freeing the front area for the condominium spaces like a decorated and furnished party saloon, fitness with modern and high performance equipments, kids place and outdoor fireplace. This concept is evidenced by the large indentation of the tower on the site, providing a beautiful and sunny access to the garden.
Dimensions & Packaging
The project consists in a residential building, with 15 floors. 11 of which are typical floors, with two apartments per floor: one facing the northeast facing the street, with two suites totaling 83 square meters of private area, and the other facing the southwest direction with three suites totaling 104 square meters of private area. The two last floors have inverted duplex apartments, with the social area and access on the upper floor, and the intimate one on the lower floor, totaling 152 square meters in the front apartment, and 178 square meters in the back apartment. The first and second floors include the social area of the building, with a hall, fitness space, party room, playground and playroom, totaling 520 square meters, as well as the parking area, totaling 816 square meters. The land area is 874 square meters, and the total built area is 3861 square meters.

Production Technology
In the project, we opted for techniques, technologies and materials common to the region, facilitating the transport and execution of the work. A structural system of reinforced concrete was used, sealing in masonry walls, and finishing with tiles and painting on the facades.
Design Challenge
The challenge of this project was to seek an architecture that was innovative, but that did not disrespect the surroundings and culture of the region. The layout of the apartments was also a key point, as it was essential to provide a pleasant and comfortable environment for future residents.
Research
The project was based on an in-depth analysis of both the terrain's constraints, such as topography, solar orientation and interesting views, as well as the city's own urban legislation. Then, we delve into local culture, history and techniques to develop our architectural concept. The general objective of the research was to make possible an architectural project that was innovative and comfortable for its users, and that also respected the surroundings and culture of the region.
Inspiration
As our first project in the state of Paraná, Brazil, we sought inspiration from the region's culture, the Tupi-Guarani indians culture and nature, in order to produce a result that not only managed to stand out for its design, but also connected with the history and space of the place
Project Duration
The project it is located in Guarapuava, a town in the State of Paraná, in the south of Brazil. The project is currently under construction.
Operation Flow
The project stands out both in its architectural design, which sought an innovative solution that could connect with the history and surroundings of the region, and in the quality of the internal spaces designed, with comfortable housing and high standard condominium spaces.
