Design Challenge
The challenge in developing 'Light Up' was to create a trusted, engaging app for young donors, blending a user-friendly interface with features like interactive maps and impact tracking. Simplifying the donation process to show clear impacts was key, as was balancing design with functionality to encourage philanthropy and build community. Research
Our research aimed at connecting young donors and NPOs, tackling engagement and transparency issues. Through interviews and testing, we identified the need for a digital solution like "Light Up" to modernize donation processes. Insights from NALAM highlighted outdated methods, pushing us to create a platform enhancing donor engagement with real-time updates.
