Production Technology

3D iron welding technology, the production of special shaped structures are very difficult. Before production, sufficient warehouse space was set aside, 1:1 modeling was carried out. Key points in the structure were determined and laid out, workers then manually performed the final bending and shaping welding. There is also a dynamic wind device in the installation. A streamer flying in the shape of the sunset. It has no structure, dances with the wind when the wind force is set by the wind device.

Design Challenge

1 Creative linkage of indoor, outdoor and restaurant spaces. The streamers floated from the outdoor stairs into the gallery, meandered into the sunset, then floated to the dinner space downstairs, and finally landed on the table. 2 Add dynamic wind driven devices to the static exhibition. Visitors can also interact with the wind device.3 An in depth study of the mechanical structure was conducted. The 6m high device is only supported by its own curved structure without columns or hanging points.

Research

Type, How to use ground installations to present the beauty of dynamic flow, achieve immersive design. Method, Focus on the shape of the curve in space. Have enough accurate data. Restore the design to the greatest extent during production, and make it by hand. An oil painter was invited to record paintings. Data, 300 people visited it. Effect: The presentation of this device has received rave reviews. It is a small budget project, uses the most common and low cost materials and has been praised by the administrator, no such design is represented in the gallery.
