About Old Peak Road Hoahoanga Roto o te Whare Noho

He hoahoanga roto o te whare noho a Old Peak Road, kei Hong Kong te wāhi e tū ana. E rua ngā mahi matua a te kāinga: hei whakangahau i ngā hoa me te whānau, me te noho o ia rā. Kei roto i te whakatakotoranga he ruma noho me te ruma kai whānui, he ruma moe matua me tōna kāhui kākahu urunga-ā-tangata, he ruma ako me tētahi ruma manuhiri, me tētahi papa tuwhera mō te tamaiti me te kararehe. He mea taupatu te papa uku e pai ana ki ngā kararehe, he parenga ki te toitoi me te wai, ā, ka mahana tonu ngā papa mā te whakamahi i te pūnaha whakamahana papa hihiko. Kua whakauruhia hoki he pūnaha kāinga atamai. Ka whakamahia ngā rākau pēneti, konumohau, me te rakau hei taonga whakapaipai, me ngā tae mahana me ngā rārangi mā.

Unique Properties: The dwelling has to fulfil two main functions: entertain friends and family, and everyday living. It’s home to a spacious living and dining room, a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a study and a guest room, with lots of floorspace for the little one and the four-legged friend to roam around as needed. A thoughtful detail has gone into the pet-friendly ceramic tiling that’s stain and water-resistant: the radiant floor heating means no more shock of waking up to icy floors.

Production Technology: We applied smart home system and floor heating in the project. We used lots of marbles, aluminium, wooden furnitures.
Inspiration: We went for a modern French style which translates into warm hues and clean lines.
The design concept is from Paris. For the dining area, the radian of the aluminium is like the shape of Eiffel Tower.
Some of the design details such as splashes of gold plating, artistic wall coating, posh marble, and statement lighting fixtures from the likes of Tom Dixon and Lee Broom, have immeasurably improved the ambience. While the chic minimalism feels right at home.
Project Duration: The project started in March 2021 in Hong Kong and finished in January 2022.
