He whakaahua matua a B. League All-Star Game 2023 i hangaia mō tētahi kaupapa poitūkohu i tū ki Mito, Ibaraki, Hapani. Ka whakamahi te hoahoa i te toi op, he momo waituhi waitara i āta tātaihia kia puta ai tētahi āhua ataata motuhake. E ahu mai ana te whakatakotoranga i te papa tukutuku me ngā pihi porotaka o Othello, he kēmu papa i takea mai i Mito. Kei ia tapawhā tētahi whakaahua e pā ana ki te poitūkohu, ki tētahi whare rānei, ki tētahi tohu whenua rānei e tohu ana i a Mito. Mā ngā āhua me ngā tae e huri ana ka puta ngā whakakori e kī ana i te nekeneke. I hangaia te whakaahua nei kia kukume i te hunga mātakitaki ki roto i tētahi wheako rumaki.

- Inspiration
- The clue to this design came from Othello, a board game that originated in Mito, the host city of the B.League All-Star Game 2023. We wondered if we could create a visual that would make the audience of the All-Star Game go crazy, based on the motif of the grid-shaped Othello board and circular pieces that all Japanese are familiar with, and came up with a rotating representation of colorful buildings symbolizing Mito and portraits of players based on the above shape.
