Kuputuhi Pukapuka: Ko te kaupapa nei e pā ana ki te hoahoa me te hanga i tētahi whare papa whānui. Ka whakaatuhia e tēnei kāinga ngā ruma moe maha, ngā ruma horoi me ngā wāhi noho maha hei whakatutuki i ngā hiahia o tētahi whānau hou. Ka aro te hoahoa ki te waihanga i tētahi taiao mahana, whaihua, ātaahua hoki. Ka noho tētahi arawhata rewa hei tino mea whakamīharo, e kukume ana i te aro o ngā manuhiri i a rātou e tirotiro ana i ngā toi kua whakaaturia huri noa i te ruma. Unique Properties: The floating staircase can be the highlight, drawing visitors’ attention as they explore the art pieces displayed around the room. This blend of art, design, and functionality can create a unique and inviting atmosphere for visitors. This design effectively combines lighting, furniture, material finishes, and color palette to create a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing dining area.
Dimensions & Packaging: This project involves the design and construction of a spacious 4900 square foot family home.

Production Technology: The staircase is features open risers and horizontal wooden treads, giving the appearance of floating steps. These treads are connected to a central dark metal stringer, which adds a sleek and contemporary touch to the overall design. The handrail, also made of wood, curves smoothly around the edge of the staircase, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
Design Challenge: While the bonsai tree introduces a natural, calming element, symbolizing balance and harmony. we to put that in entrance foyer, contribute to a cozy atmosphere, making the space feel inviting.
Research: This design tells a story of blending nature with modernity, creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We tried do some research on how to blend nature, modern aesthetics with traditional elements, creating a serene and welcoming space
Inspiration: An interior space is inspired by minimalist and contemporary aesthetics, focusing on clean lines, functional spaces, and a neutral color palette, with a staircase as the focal point. The staircase features smooth, curved wooden panels that create a flowing, organic look, adding a sense of movement and elegance to the space. This design exemplifies how practical elements can be incorporated into living spaces without compromising on elegance and aesthetics.
Project Duration: The project started in May 2023 in Hong Kong and finished in September 2024
Operation Flow: The entrance is located on the middle floor of this apartment, which serves as a central hub. The visitor area is situated downstairs, while the private quarters are upstairs. Common areas such as the gym and living room are on the middle floor, making them easily accessible. Visitors can enjoy meals in the kitchen and dining area, and relax in the play area and tearoom, all located downstairs. The owner’s private quarters upstairs provide a peaceful retreat, ensuring privacy and tranquility
