About Unvisible Landscapes Rama
He rārangi rama a Unvisible Landscapes e ahu mai i ngā rahi-toru ā-tuahangata (fractals).

About the A' Design Award Parahi
Ko Unvisible Landscapes Rama te toa o te A' Design Award Parahi, he whakaaetanga tino whai mana e hoatu ana ki ngā hoahoa kōeke e tohua ana mā te auaha, te mahi mōhio me te whakaaro hōhonu. Ko ngā toa Parahi he mahi pukenga e rite ana, he auaha mīharo, e whakatūturu ana i te wheako nui, te whakaaro me te mōhio-ā-ringa o ā rātou kaihoahoa. E tūmanakohia ana ko Unvisible Landscapes Rama he taonga whakanuia, whakamīharotia, aroha nui, he ngaio, he auaha hoki. Ko tēnei hoahoa i toa i te Parahi e whakauru ana i ngā tikanga pai rawa i te toi, te pūtaiao, te hoahoa me te hangarau, ā, he tino mīharo ki ngā taipitopito. Ka whakatutuki a Unvisible Landscapes Rama i ngā hiahia, ka pā ki ngā hiahia, ka whakaoho i ngā kare-ā-roto, ā, ka kume i te pākiki.
Behind the Design

Credits, team members and technical details provided by the designer.
- Unique Properties
- 3 dimensional fractals that bring associations with urban landscapes generated in fractal generation software and then transposed to physical space by 3d printing and presented in the form of light.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Model 1: Width 170 mm x Depth 120 mm x Height 26 mm
Model 2: Width 200 mm x Depth 150 mm x Height 16 mm
Model 3: Width 420 mm x Depth 320 mm x Height 15 mm - Tags
- fractal, fractals, 3d print, 3d printing, light
- Production Technology
- Fractal generation through Mandelbulb 3d software. 3d processing was made by applying displacement maps to surfaces in 3d modeling software. Physical objects were printed on a 3d printer with te use of PLA filament and then equipped with LED strips for lighting.
- Design Challenge
- This design is a part of the project 'Unvisible Spaces' with the aim to visualize and sonify 'unvisible' phenomena that take place in nature and introduce them to the field of art and design.
- Research
- Fractals generated by mutation of formulas and navigation in Mandelbulb 3d software. Then rendered and transposed into video, digital prints and 3d prints.
- Inspiration
- Objective mathematical notions must be thought as timeless entities and are not to be regarded as being conjured into existence at the moment that they are first humanly perceived.

Eternal beauty (...) nor this beauty will appear like the beauty of a face or hands or anything corporeal, or like a thought or knowledge, or existing in any other being, but a beauty itself constant and eternal.

- The project starded in 2019, and was exhibited in Pavilion 02 in Venice in May 2019
