Xiaoqian Wang

Jewellery and product designer Xiaoqian Wang was born in 1991 and grew up in Beijing. Space and structure, void and volume, light and shadow always attract Xiaoqian. She probes into the relationship between human and the artifacts, pushing the boundary between jewellery, accessory, and product, seeking the new opportunity within different production methods from traditional craftsmanship to the latest technology.

The creative work of Xiaoqian Wang has been celebrated by the highly prestigious A' Design Award & Competition in Whakakai. The A' Design Award Parahi marks the achievement of Xiaoqian Wang in the international design competition. The verdict on the work of Xiaoqian Wang came from an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and journalists, who scored anonymized entries against predetermined criteria.

The 2020 - 2021 edition of the A' Design Award & Competition brought the recognition to Xiaoqian Wang. The meritocratic rankings of Designers.org place Xiaoqian Wang at position 4,242 worldwide and at position 1,475 in Hainamana. Xiaoqian Wang holds the World Design Rating title Hoa Mahi Heke Mai.
