House of the Breathing Void adolah rumah kadiaman nan diatur di sakuliliang atrium tangah. Atrium ko bapungsi sabagai ruang tabuka tampek udaro jo cahayo baredar sacaro bebas, mambantuak inti lingkungan dari rumah tu. Atrium ko juo manciptakan dialog nan taruih manaruih antaro ruang dalam jo ruang lua. Rumah ko manuruik prinsip bioklimatik, jo orientasi ka arah selatan nan jaleh untuak manangkok cahayo matoari, mandukuang pamanasan pasif, sarato mandorong ventilasi alami. Orientasi nan samo mambari bantuak diagonal ka bangunan tu, sabuah respons nan basipaik spasial sakaligus klimatik.

Unique Properties: The “House of the Breathing Void” is conceived as a sanctuary of openness, a dwelling that breathes, listens, and connects. Anchored between earth and sky, the house establishes a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior, shaped by climate, light, and Mediterranean lifestyle. At its center lies an atrium, the open heart of the home, where air, light, and life circulate freely, forming both the emotional and environmental core.
Inspiration: The Atrium was the concept inspiration of the project. The house was conceived through bioclimatic principles, its geometry shaped by a clear southern orientation that captures sunlight, enhances passive heating, and invites natural ventilation. From this dual idea, the atrium and the orientation toward the sun, a diagonal gesture arose in the building’s form, a spatial and climatic response that defines its identity. Here, light becomes both material and structure, carving paths through the interior.
