"The Dawn" нь Тайваны Хуалянь хотод байрлах, тэтгэвэрт гарсны дараах амьдралд зориулан төлөвлөгдсөн оршин суух байшин юм. Байшин нь 150 хавтгай дөрвөлжин метр талбайг эзэлдэг бөгөөд 2022 оны 6-р сард баригдаж дуусжээ. Гадаад дүрс нь энгийн бөгөөд гол фасад нь хоёр муруй шугамаар тодорхойлогдоно. Муруй байгууламжийн гадаргуу нь дороос дээш сунаж тогтсон тул дотоод орон зай нь эргэн тойрны орчинтой холбогдох боловч зуны халуунаас хамгаалагдсан байдаг. Лифт нь саадгүй нэвтрэлтийг хангахын тулд бүх давхарт хүрдэг. Гүйдэг хаалга болон эргэдэг хавтангууд нь орон зайг уян хатан ашиглах боломжийг олгодог. Дээд давхрын угаалгын өрөө нь гаднах цонхтой харагдаж, Хуалянийн үзэмжийг харуулдаг.

Unique Properties: As far as the exterior is concerned, the building’s appearance is simplified, demonstrating a sculpture like artwork towering over the base. The face of the main building is outlined through two curved lines. Besides, the solid construction is covered little by little and unfolded by the softly curved surface, just like a calla blooming quietly from the street block. Over the top furnishings have been abandoned to create abundant storage space.

Production Technology: From bottom to top, the building skin is slowly stretched, which makes the indoor area and the outdoor surroundings connected yet separated. Therefore, it has effectively eliminated the heat energy brought by the sun during summertime.
Design Challenge: The project adopts a minimalist design style from the exterior of the building to the interior of the space, focusing on the daily functional needs as the main focus of the planning. As a result, the designer significantly reduces the unnecessary purchase of furniture and eliminates superfluous decorations. The designer's initiative has greatly avoided the waste of resources and created a sustainable and friendly house.
Research: On top of that, the bathroom is planned at the external window on the top floor, so the beautiful scenery of Hualien is brought into the room, offering the clients a soothing and comfortable bath experience. In addition, due to the reduction of the living area caused by this equipment, the designer has skillfully selected adjustable features such as sliding doors and revolving door panels to endow the space with variable usability.
Inspiration: This project is a residential space in the old district of Hualien City, Taiwan, which is the owner's and his wife's retirement home. Given the cramped and narrow space of the original residence, it is expected that the needs such as abundant light and spaciousness can be incorporated into the new home to create a comfortable and enjoyable living space. The designer has completed the entire planning with a simple yet resourceful strategy.
Project Duration: The project was completed in Hualien City in June 2022.
Operation Flow: When the night comes, the warm yellow light from the room reflects like a flute-shaped glass containing champagne, diffuses an elegant luster in the dimly lit neighborhood, and welcomes visiting relatives and friends to gather for a drink. Considering the owner's needs for barrier-free facilities, an elevator that can access each floor is installed inside the house.
