A Garden for All Үсгийн Дизайн тухай

Энэхүү төсөл нь боловсролын төсөл юм. Сингапурын NTU их сургуулийн Урлаг, Дизайн ба Медиа сургуулийн дээд боловсролын түвшний оюутнуудад өгсөн Типографийн Дизайны даалгавар байсан. Даалгаврын дагуу оюутан бүр дроп кап буюу хүүрдэс үсгийг фонтын гэр бүл хэлбэрээр зохион бүтээсэн. Үр дүнд оюутнууд Сингапурын Ботаникийн цэцэрлэгийн ургамал, амьтан болон өвөрмөц шинж чанаруудаас сэдэвлэсэн олон фонтын гэр бүл бүтээжээ. Эдгээрээс хамгийн шилдэг дроп капуудыг Сингапурын Epigram Books хэвлэлийн газраас гаргасан "A Garden For All" номонд хэвлүүлсэн.

A Garden for All Үсгийн Дизайн нь A' Design Award Мөнгөн шагналын ялагч бөгөөд дээд зэргийн, гайхамшигтай, сэтгэл хөдөлгөм загварт олгодог онцгой нэр хүндтэй хүлээн зөвшөөрөлт юм. Мөнгөн ялагчид бол маш гялалзсан, маш бүтээлч ажил бөгөөд зохион бүтээгчдийн гарамгай мэдлэг, авьяас, нарийн мэдрэмжийг харуулдаг. A Garden for All Үсгийн Дизайн нь гайхалтай, үлгэр жишээ, маш мэргэжлийн, гүнзгий шинэлэг бүтээл болно гэж хүлээгддэг. Мөнгөн шагнал хүртсэн энэ загвар бол урлаг, шинжлэх ухаан, загвар, технологийн хил хязгаарыг тэлэхэд хувь нэмэр оруулдаг анхаарал татахуйц, биширсэн шинэ бүтээл юм. A Garden for All Үсгийн Дизайн бол олон хүний атаархал татдаг бүтээл бөгөөд хүслийг сэргээж, эерэг мэдрэмж авчирч, гайхшрал, биширлийг төрүүлдэг.

Үйлдвэрлэлийн технологи: This project originated as part of a teaching assignment in the course 'Typography III'. It is an industry oriented assignment whose outcome is the publishing of the produced typographical works, emulating a real design commissioned scenario. To this effect, a group of students from 'Typography III' course from the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), were invited to collaborate with Epigram Books under the Creative Direction of Associate Professor Danne Ojeda. Students conducted field research in Singapore Botanic Gardens, after which they created original Drop Caps in the form of contemporary illustrated type designs for the book 'A Garden for All'.
Дизайны сорилт: To find a unique design direction that will respond to the research abstract, to design and develop a coherent typographical system that carries the essence of the various features of the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
Судалгаа: To design Drop Caps typographic prototypes, that depict the variety and richness of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, flora, fauna, and any other relevant elements found in situ. This is Singapore First UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Урам зориг: TYPOlogy is an educational project. It was an assignment on Typography Design given to tertiary education students from the School of Art, Design and Media, NTU, Singapore. The assignment was for each student to design DROP CAPS as a font family (See images and attached PDF). The outcome was multiple font families created by students and inspired by the flora, fauna, and unique features of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. From this, the best of the best DROP CAPS were printed in the book A GARDEN FOR ALL, published by the prestigious editorial Epigram Books in Singapore (See the last part of the PDF attached with the chapters of A GARDEN FOR ALL, with the original DROP CAPS designed for this book).
