Riċerka estensiva fil-preservazzjoni tal-ikel wasslet għal karatteristiċi bħal Fresco Zero u Pure Breeze UV, li jiżguraw friskrija u iġjene. L-isfida kienet li tiġi bbilanjata l-prestiġju u l-prestazzjoni, permezz tal-għażla ta' ħġieġ durabbli b'riflessjoni għolja. With a 367 L capacity, it features 4 shelves, 3 of which adjustable, 3 adjustable door balconies, and 1 fixed balcony. It includes 2 humidity-controlled drawers, including Fresco Zero for optimal meat and fish storage at approximately zero degrees. The Total No Frost system prevents ice buildup and bacteria formation, while Pure Breeze UV technology eliminates 99.99% of bacteria and viruses using UV-C LED rays. The LED touch interface and LED lighting ensure ease of use and perfect visibility.

Design Challenge: The main challenge was to translate the concept of prestige and modernity into a freestanding refrigerator while maintaining a perfect balance between aesthetics and performance. The use of black glass required in-depth material research to ensure durability, refinement, and ease of maintenance. The selection of the glass itself with the right specifications such as color, reflectance and thickness was an important part of the research. The result is a product that redefines design standards in this category, elevating the refrigerator from a simple appliance to a true interior design element.
Research: This research focuses on the development of a refrigerator that combines top performances with the refined aesthetics of built-in models. Its minimalist design and premium materials, such as black glass, enhance elegance and prestige, redefining the stylistic language of this product category. Beyond aesthetics, the refrigerator features a spacious capacity and cutting-edge technologies such as Pure Breeze UV and Total No Frost. Designed to complement the Modern Series, it seamlessly integrates with other black glass appliances, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious design across the entire kitchen.
Inspiration: The 60cm freestanding refrigerator was born from the desire to blend cutting-edge technology with refined aesthetics, creating a product that enhances both functionality and design in modern kitchens. Inspired by the timeless elegance of black glass, it embodies a sleek, sophisticated look that seamlessly integrates into diverse interiors. Extensive research in food preservation led to advanced features like Fresco Zero and Pure Breeze UV, ensuring freshness, hygiene, and optimal performance.
Project Duration: The project started in November 2023 and finished in November 2024, presented at the FTK exhibition in April 2024.
Operation Flow: This refrigerator is designed to enhance everyday usability through a seamless balance of functionality and flexibility. The interior adapts effortlessly to different storage needs, offering customizable space solutions. Advanced cooling technology maintains ideal conditions for all ingredients, preserving freshness and quality over time.
