About The Portable Lunchbox

De horeca bloeit en afhaalmaaltijden zijn een noodzaak geworden voor moderne mensen. Tegelijkertijd is er ook veel afval gegenereerd. Veel van de maaltijddozen waarin voedsel wordt bewaard, kunnen worden gerecycled, maar de plastic zakken die worden gebruikt om de maaltijddozen in te pakken, zijn inderdaad niet-recyclebaar. Om het gebruik van plastic zakken te verminderen, worden de functies van de maaltijdbox en plastic gecombineerd om nieuwe lunchboxen te ontwerpen. De balenbox verandert het deel van zichzelf in een handvat dat gemakkelijk te dragen is en waarin meerdere maaltijdboxen kunnen worden geïntegreerd, waardoor het gebruik van plastic zakken voor het verpakken van maaltijdboxen aanzienlijk wordt verminderd.

Unique Properties: This is a disposable lunch box design that is easy to pack and carry. The edges of the lunch box can be torn open to form a portable handle, which can pack 1-3 lunch boxes. The portable lunch box can reduce the use of disposable plastic bags and reduce the generation of garbage.

Design Challenge: The length of the handle needs to be tried several times and needs to be coordinated with the length and height of the lunch box.
Research: The portable lunch box turns the part of itself into a handle that is easy to carry, and can integrate multiple lunch boxes, greatly reducing the use of plastic bags for packing lunch boxes.
Inspiration: The catering industry is flourishing, and takeaway has become a necessity for modern people. At the same time, a lot of garbage has also been generated. Many of the lunch boxes used to hold food can be recycled, but the plastic bags used to pack the lunch boxes are indeed non-recyclable. In order to reduce the use of plastic bags, the functions of the lunch box and plastic are combined to design new lunch boxes.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2020 and finished in February 2020 in South China University of Technology.
Operation Flow: After putting the meal in place, close the lid, tear along the dotted lines on the sides of the lunch box to form a handle, pack and fix the rest of the lunch box and take it away.
