About Geely Galaxy M9 Sport Utility Vehicle

Geely Galaxy M9 is een zeszits vlaggenschip sport utility vehicle, ontworpen voor moderne gezinnen. De indeling van het interieur herinterpreteert de ruimtelijke logica van traditionele Chinese herenhuizen met drie binnenplaatsen, waarbij de cabine is georganiseerd in drie rijen, elk met een eigen functionele focus. De flexibele cabine verandert met één tik in acht verschillende modi. Alle stoelen zijn voorzien van grafeenverwarming en een vierwegs adaptief lendensteunsysteem. Er wordt gebruikgemaakt van verf op waterbasis, interieurmaterialen met lage emissies en recyclebare stoffen. Het brandstofverbruik bedraagt 4,8 liter per 100 kilometer.

Crafted for modern families, its interior layout reinterprets the spatial logic of traditional Chinese three courtyard mansions into a modern 6 seater SUV cabin, which features three distinct rows of seats and a flexible interior layout to create a mobile home that adapts to diverse scenarios.

Production Technology: All seats feature graphene therapeutic heating and a 4 way adaptive lumbar support system for optimal comfort.
The vehicle extensively uses water based paints, low VOC interior materials, and recyclable fabrics, carefully selected to minimize environmental impact while maintaining comfort and quality.
Thanks to its lightweight engineering and AI powered energy management system, the vehicle consumes just 4.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers and delivers a maximum range of over 1,500 kilometers.
Design Challenge: The cabin reinterprets the spatial order of traditional Chinese three courtyard mansions.
The first row has a 30 in ultra wide screen, a 9.1 L refrigerator, leg supports, massage, and heating.
The second row draws on traditional Chinese armchairs for ergonomic comfort, with a 1.1 m door opening, 1.3 m cabin height, and 180 mm aisle width for easy access and an open feel.
The third row gives passengers equal comfort and decency with 1.07 m seat width and 150 degree electrically adjustable backrests.
Research: Centered on the fundamental purpose of making all six seats truly comfortable, functional, and enjoyable, Geely Galaxy M9 reimagines the spatial logic of traditional Chinese three courtyard mansions for the modern six seater SUV cabin. The cabin layout is organized into three distinct rows, each with its own functional focus, shaped by the different roles family members take and the ways they use the space during travel.
Inspiration: To meet culturally diverse aesthetic expectations, the international design team has developed a visual language that resonates globally through collaboration across different cultural backgrounds. For instance, the ripple of galaxy full width headlight reflects the Eastern imagery of a starry milky way while echoing the Western masterpiece, the starry night. Crafted with a 3D structure and micro hole laser engraving, it glows with a dynamic galactic effect, bridging emotion and cultural depth.
Project Duration: Geely Galaxy M9 made its debut in Italy, in May 2025, and went on sale in China in September 2025.
Operation Flow: The flexible cabin layout transforms into 8 distinct modes with just a tap, effortlessly adapting to a wide range of user needs and situations.
Backed by the Dragon Eagle 1 Chip, 16GB of RAM, and the powerful computing capabilities of the Geely Xingrui Intelligent Computing Center, the Galaxy Flyme Auto smart cockpit reduces command response time to under 500 milliseconds, delivering truly seamless interaction that anyone can use intuitively, right from the start.
