Gürok

At LAV, design exists at the intersection of function, emotion, and clarity. We focus on transforming simple moments, drinking, sharing, and serving, into more refined experiences through form and material. Developing products for both retail and professional use, we balance the capabilities of mass production with careful detailing, creating glassware that feels both contemporary and familiar.

The creative work of Gürok has been honored by the highly prestigious A' Design Award & Competition in Keukengerei and Horecaproducten. Gürok has collected 3 A' Design Awards, with the A' Design Award in Goud as the highest distinction. The Keukengerei category has honored Gürok more than once. In the competition, Gürok entered anonymously, and an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members decided by blind peer review.

The 2025 - 2026 edition of the A' Design Award & Competition brought Gürok multiple awards at once. The meritocratic rankings of Designers.org place Gürok at position 572 worldwide and at position 15 in Turkije. The achievements of Gürok earned the World Design Rating title Transcendente Expert.
