Mndandanda wa magalasi a Star wapangidwa ndi mawonekedwe oyenda bwino omwe amaphatikiza maziko ozungulira ndi mphete yakunja kuti ukhazikike bwino. Gululi lakhazikitsidwa pa lingaliro la kamangidwe koti zisanjalidwe komanso zidutswe. Mndandandawu wapangidwa kuchokera ku galasi la borosilicate ndipo uli ndi zakulu zitatu zosiyana. Ndi zotetezeka m'makina ochapira ndipo zili zowonekera kwambiri komanso zilipo m'mitundu yosiyanasiyana. Galasiyo limatha kugwiritsidwanso ntchito, ndipo chokutiracho chapangidwa kuchokera ku pepala lolimbikitsidwa logwiritsidwanso ntchito.

Star Galasi Lakumwa ndi mmodzi mwa opambana a Mphoto ya Siliva ya A' Design Award, kuzindikirika kolemekezeka modabwitsa komwe kumaperekedwa kwa mapangidwe a pamwamba, okongola ndi ochititsa chidwi. Opambana a Siliva ndi ntchito zowala kwambiri ndi zolenga kwambiri zomwe zimaonetsa ukatswiri, luso ndi nzeru zakuthwa za opanga awo. Star Galasi Lakumwa akuyembekezeka kukhala ntchito yodabwitsa yoonetsedwa, yaukatswiri wapadera ndi yatsopano kwambiri. Mapangidwe opambana Mphoto ya Siliva ya A' Design Award awa ndi chopangidwa chodziwika kwambiri ndi choyamikiridwa chomwe chimapindulitsa ndi kukulitsa malire a luso, sayansi, kapangidwe ndi ukadaulo. Star Galasi Lakumwa ndi cholengedwa chomwe anthu ambiri amachichitira nsanje, chomwe chimadzutsa zilakolako, kubweretsa maganizo abwino ndi kuyatsa kudabwa ndi chidwi.

Based on a stackable and modular design concept it comes in three different sizes and many different colours. Star is made from borosilicate glass. This dishwasher safe material has high transparency and a lot of depth. It sets the scene and helps to present the content appropriately making every drink special. Cheers!

Teknoloji Yopangira: The Star glassware series is made from borosilicate glass. The material is known for its strength, durability and temperature resistance. The glass can be moulded and crafted in a variety of very different shapes and thicknesses. It is an infinitely recyclable material that can be re-melted again and again minimizing waste and environmental impact. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard.
Vuto la Dizayini: The main challenge was the necessity to create a series of modular and stackable drinking glasses in different sizes that also explore the formal possibilities of the material and make a visual statement.
Kafukufuku: The design process was based on conceptual and formal research aimed at understanding material properties and opportunities of the category.
Product development and refinement through traditional sketching and 3D modelling.
Chilimbikitso: The inner and outer volume follow the exact same flowing, rounded gesture. This shape is also playing on the original idea of the tumbler. A drinking glass for many different drinks, commonly with a flat base. But initially with a pointed or rounded base. So, this proposal combines the rounded base with a pointed external ring for added stability. Just stellar!
Nthawi ya Polojekiti: The project was designed in Italy during the summer of 2024 as a quick side study for Officina Endorfino. A free exploration and exercise in glassware design.
