De comandas vocalas simplas guidan cada etapa. Lo tractament del lengatge natural permet de legir e de comprene de recèptas ordinàrias, e las prètzfaches son atribuits al braç e mai al cosinièr. De sensors permeton de sarrar fermament los mànecs per remenar o fóter, e de quichar doçament una botelha de salsa. S'utilizan los espleches e utisses de cosina de cada jorn. Lo còs prim mesura 90 per 90 per 1200 millimètres quand es completament espandit.

- Research
- According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, women and men spend over 1 hour a day in food and drink preparation and kitchen work. These activities involve several tedious, time-consuming and repetitive tasks. How might we help people regain precious quality time in their day by bringing advances in automation and robotics to the home environment?
- Inspiration
- Bot Chef was inspired by our love of cooking, and the desire to make meal preparation a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for both home cooks and professional chefs. Kitchen work and food preparation involves several tedious, time-consuming and repetitive tasks, and everyone could use an "extra hand" in the kitchen. Our innovative hardware and software brings cutting edge advances in robotics and automation to the home in an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly form-factor.
- Project Duration
- This project has been under development since August 2018, and been showcased at numerous trade events such as KBIS 2019, IFA 2019, and CES 2020.
- Operation Flow
- Bot Chef can understand and respond to simple voice commands from the user. Through advanced natural language processing, Bot Chef can read, understand, and assign tasks to itself and the human chef in regular recipes. Sensors allow it to grasp handles firmly to stir or whisk, and also gently squeeze a bottle of sauce. Need to change up the recipe? It's as easy as saying "Hey Bot Chef, add some Sriracha!"
