About Erhu Cadièra

Erhu es una cadièra inspirada per l'erhu, un instrument tradicional chinés a còrdas. La concepcion utiliza la cultura nacionala coma lengatge del mòble modèrne e explòra un estil chinés contemporanèu. La estructura es simpla, amb solament doas partidas : la susfàcia del sèti e las cambas. L'esquina de la cadièra, la susfàcia del sèti e la camba davantièra formon una sola pèça de contraplacat corbat, premsat dins un mòtle premodelat. La susfàcia es plaquejada amb fust de fraisse e de noguièr, e las cambas son fachas en noguièr. La forma de la camba darrièra rapèla la camba en forma de sabòt del mòble d'estil Ming. Las corbas seguisson lo còs uman.

Unique Properties: Inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese classical instrument, the design incorporated national culture as a language of modern furniture, exploring a new style of contemporary Chinese furniture.
The structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs. The chair back, seat surface and front leg are made of curved plywood as a whole, and the three dimensional seating space is completed with two dimensional curves fitting the shape of the human body.

Production Technology: The integrated shape of the seat surface, chair back and front leg is completed by pressing the curved plywood in a premade mold.
The surface used ash wood and walnut for veneering. The legs are made of walnut.
