Aqueste projècte implicava la renovacion d'una residéncia dels ans 1990, que presentava a l'origina una arquitectura emblematica de nauta qualitat del disenh brasilièr d'aquela decennia. Vist l'importància de l'arquitectura, l'intervencion se limitèt als interiors, per tal de preservar lo caractèr dels ans 1990 tot en metent a jorn los espacis segon los estandards contemporanèus. L'apròchi prenguèt en compte l'intencion originala del disenh, en melhorant la foncionalitat e lo confòrt sens alterar son esséncia arquitecturala.

The result is a harmonious balance between historical identity and contemporary lifestyle.

Desaffo de Dissènh: The main challenge was creating an interior that harmonizes with the house’s original 1990s Brazilian architecture. While the interiors were fully renovated to meet contemporary needs, the design carefully respects and complements the existing structure, ensuring a coherent and balanced relationship between modern functionality and the home’s vintage character.
Recèrca: This design research focused on updating a 1990s residence while preserving its original architectural character. Objectives included enhancing functionality, comfort, and aesthetics without compromising historical identity. Methodology combined spatial analysis, material studies, and interior layout planning. Data was collected through surveys of existing conditions, sketches, and client feedback. Participants included the design team and homeowners. Results achieved a functional, balanced, and visually coherent interior. Insights demonstrated how subtle interventions can modernize spaces while respecting their original design, impacting residential renovation practices and showing how heritage and contemporary needs can coexist in everyday living.

Durada del Projècte: The project started in October 2018 in Blumenau and finished in November 2020.

These interventions enhance comfort, functionality, and visual coherence, allowing the residence to perform better by combining historical character with contemporary usability.
