Viatge a Lijiang es una sèria d'illustracions sus la ciutat de Lijiang en China. Las illustracions utilizan l'imatge d'un cat de teula, conegut coma Wa Mao, coma element visual principal. Wa Mao es un simbòl cultural local e servís de guida cap al paisatge natural e a las tradicions etnicas de Lijiang. Los simbòls culturals tradicionals son abstraits e tornats dessenhar dins un estil visual modèrne. La sèria es creada amb un logicial de disseny vectorial e produsida amb una tecnologia d'impression d'nauta qualitat. L'objectiu es de sosténer la presa de consciéncia e la proteccion de la cultura locala.

Unique Properties: This group of illustrations cleverly uses the image of a tile cat as the visual focus, closely connected to multiculturalism, creating a unique and emotional atmosphere, showcasing the magnificent natural relics and profound ethnic charm of Lijiang to the audience. Wa Mao not only serves as an emotional guide, but also carries the essence of Lijiang's traditional culture, and presents it in a modern aesthetic way, injecting new era connotations into Lijiang's humanities and natural culture.

Production Technology: The series of illustrations and expressions are drawn by the illustrator vector design software. It is produced by high level printing and manufacturing technologies to show the details of beautiful and exquisite illustrations.
Design Challenge: The difficulty lies in the abstract extraction and reorganization of Lijiang cultural symbols, combined with modern popular design trends and technological means through emotional interactive experience forms for dissemination, so as to keep up with the trend of the times, make progress in visual aesthetics, cultural inheritance, and form innovation, retain traditional charm, and keep up with the pace of aesthetic appreciation of the times.
Research: Lijiang, as a sacred land with many world cultural heritage sites, records the long history of human civilization development. Its unique geographical location, ancient town and district civilization, and natural scenery have nurtured Lijiang's unique material cultural heritage; The multi-ethnic environment and the skills passed down from generation to generation have also preserved rich intangible cultural characteristics for us, forming its unique cultural genes that should be protected and inherited, so that its culture does not disappear under the wave of commercial development and modern urbanization.
Inspiration: Using the cultural symbol of Lijiang's intangible cultural heritage, Wa Mao, as an index to connect the Lijiang cultural and tourism routes for illustration and image design. Using illustration language to express the outstanding talents of Lijiang, endowing traditional culture with new era connotations and modern forms of expression.
