The Design

About Speech Bubbie Krój pisma

Speech Bubbie to krój pisma zaprojektowany zarówno dla liter łacińskich, jak i znaków chińskich. Dymek mowy to konwencja graficzna wykorzystywana w dialogach komiksowych, a formy liter również sugerują emocje w piśmie. Powiązanie tych dwóch elementów graficznych doprowadziło do powstania nowej struktury liter i znaków opartej na formie komiksowej. Kreski zostały uproszczone do ogólnych kształtów dymków mowy, przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu kierunku oryginalnych pociągnięć, dzięki czemu czytelność została zachowana. Krój pisma został najpierw narysowany ręcznie, a następnie stworzony za pomocą oprogramowania wektorowego.
