I am a young ambitious russian architect and product designer. I love my job. Every day in my head burns a lot of interesting design ideas. I like to think about forms and how to create solutions that improves the life. I also love making music which is my hobby. I love futuristic form, bright colors and contemporary production methods. In the design process I use 3d technologies – from begin of creation to the end. Most of the projects are 3d models which can be produced via 3d-printing. The size, material and colour are changeable parameters.

Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?

YORB DESIGN was founded by Hotelier Patrick Robineau, YORB DESIGN creates the future of dining through aesthetic, functionality and uniqueness. We use cutting edge materials, design and technology to stimulate the mind through visual and tactile experiences. We help you deliver truly individual culinary presentations setting new standards for creativity and innovation. We reinvent the way we eat and present food today for tomorrow and we pride ourselves to produce in limited production. What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?

How would you describe your design style? What made you explore more this style and what are the main characteristics of your style? What's your approach to design?

My style is "Alex Petunin style", I can't say that I have any style but myself. All i do is a result of my perception of reality

Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?

Saint-Petersburg, Russia. It's historical city and my design is a protest to the environment i live

How do you work with companies?

First I understand what the Client wants, than I read a lot about the Company, than think, visualize the result and find the answer what I whould design.

What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?

The companies should see through work of designer to his soul and values, and if it is exactly what they look for, they must give maximum of freedom for designer - this is the way to great results.

process of creating 3d shape, beecause it's easy and beautiful

What are your future plans? What is next for you?

My future plan is to be a design star number one in the world. My next is installation in Saint-Petersburg design week 2014
