She was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She studied architecture at Ecole Speciale d’Architecture de Paris (Paris, France) for her undergrad years where she developed her passion towards creating unique spaces inspired by great contemporary artists and architects. In 2006 she entered the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris La Villette (Paris, France) to study architecture-Cinema. Through all these years of school and later in practice she kept developing her passion towards social sciences and published several international papers in the domain of sociology and urbanism and their overlaps. She redefined her career path in 2015 when she moved to New York US, within retail design and commercial buildings. Since then, she has designed several stores for Tiffany & Co. in the US and North Asia as well as Tory Burch stores design and project management, Rothy’s on Bleecker st in NYC and some Burlington and other brands. She finds retail design very dynamic and versatile and most compatible with her background in Architecture-Cinema. In 2021 she registered her design firm in Brooklyn to bring together all her knowledge and experiences in design through all these years and countries, her firm is focused on interiors, fixtures and object design. In December 2020 she joined the board of AIA Brooklyn as a Co-Chair at Women In Architecture committee, where she can develop her all-time passion and purpose of empowering women in architecture and building a platform for current and future generations of women in this career to learn from each other’s experiences and mentoring each other towards a more inclusive and diverse future in architecture. Outside her work she enjoys visiting art galleries, museums, drawing and painting. She had a couple of her works exhibited at New York Center for Architecture in benefit of NYCOBA/NOMA in September 2020.
