Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
Since graduation,I have been engaged in industrial design for 24 years, worked as the design director in the design studio for 6 years, worked on consumer electronics products in Lenovo Innovation Design Center for 3 years, and worked on mobile phone design in MOTOROLA Design Center for 3 years. In 2014,I founded the designer original brand, and the products designed have won the German Red Dot Award,IF Award and Taiwan Golden Dot Award for many times Award, Korea Expo Gold Award, Osaka International Design Excellence Award, IDA Design Gold Award,A'DESIGN Gold Award.
Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
The original designer brand founded in 2014, Everyone will pursue the freedom and happiness that they yearn for more or less in their hearts, and look forward to their own good encounters, and expect their own good fortunes and bright future. Every product here comes from the designer's perception of life, and each item contains a touch of emotion. Although it is just a small item, I hope it can become the beautiful encounter, happy meeting, warm companionship in your life.
What is "design" for you?
A small piece of design, an conceivable unexpectation that is given to you who dream for the life of freedom.
What kinds of works do you like designing most?
For me, design is not only a profession and work, but also a kind of life. Doing design can make my heart feel relieved and happy. Through innovative ideas, an unexpected idea can be provided to users, so that users can resonate with the designed products, especially the emotional interaction and communication, so that users feel happy and happy The product not only has its own use value, but also the emotional value it brings to users is more worthy of discovery and recognition. Therefore, design is not only a kind of implementation behavior, but also a way of communication to establish emotional connection.
What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
The product design that can tell a story and let users find unexpected surprises when they use it is my favorite
What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
There is no favorite in this question. I like to contact with different materials and technologies, and I like to contact and try new things, because only in this way can I find more differences and create more distinctive new things based on different things
Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?

What makes a design successful?
The success of a design depends on many factors, such as timing, funding, brand, market, user recognition and so on
From your point of view, what are the responsibilities of a designer for society and environment?
From a large perspective, design can promote social progress with innovation. From a small perspective, design can meet the needs of users and realize the own value of products. From the perspective of the environment, design must give priority to environmental protection, design is to reduce the burden, not the burden of manufacturing
How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
Design is accompanied by scientific and technological progress in the forward development, the future will still be based on this direction, but no matter how the development of technology, human emotional factors will always be the first
Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
Animals and plants, which is the main source of my product design, the nature of animals and plants are rich enough, their diversity, so that the design has a continuous source of creativity
Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
Living in Beijing, China has a long history and a deep cultural foundation, which has a great influence on design and a rich source of creativity. The disadvantage is that some designers will deliberately strengthen these elements and make them traditional for the sake of tradition
