What kind of emotions do you feel when your designs are realized?
In my opinion, the biggest emotional event for a designer is to achieve the result. Now this result can be a cheap product or a precious product. The type of emotion is not related to the number of designs. Because creating a product is always exciting. Honor and pleasure of being useful, to see the product being used by others (people) who are entitled to the good life.
What makes a design successful?
A successfully design, it has to satisfy certain criteria, not only functional but also psychological and aesthetic. Good design emphasizes the usefulness of a product while disregarding anything that could possibly detract from it.

Extended Interview with Arsalan Ghadimi

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?
we have been working in the field of design for 12 years. we studied industrial design in the product sub-branch. My favorite field is furniture and lighting design.
How did you become a designer?
The most important motivation in designing can be the change of a small element even in human life.
What are your priorities, technique and style when designing?
Becoming a designer is not a compulsion, it is your choice, until you want to design something, you will never come up with an idea, the best thing in design is the love of design.
Which emotions do you feel when designing?
Everything in design is enjoyable. Every project that comes my way presents a new challenge, making the process even more enjoyable. Each need transforms into a design, and eventually, into a product. It’s all about looking at that need from a different perspective.
What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?
Design is unlike other fields. Every day, you can create a new product or identify a new need and find a solution for it. No design is inherently better than another; it is the creativity and the ability to identify needs that distinguish one designer from another.
What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?
A great designer doesn’t limit himself by suppressing his ideas. While a good designer can create a beautiful product, a great designer is one who breaks boundaries.
You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?
We live in a competitive world, where given two products, people tend to choose the more aesthetically pleasing one. Therefore, we must pay close attention to the details in our designs.
What is your day to day look like?
That sounds like a fantastic aspiration! Designing luxury cruise boats or yachts would indeed be an exciting and rewarding challenge. For now, focusing on furniture design is a great way to hone our skills and creativity. Each piece of furniture you design can be a step towards achieving your dream.
How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?
That’s completely understandable. Sometimes it’s best to keep our dreams and projects close until we’re ready to share them. When the time is right, I’m sure our designs will be amazing.
How do you know if a product or project is well designed? How do you define good design?
In my opinion, design has no hidden elements; it is only necessary that we never forget the details. I believe the most important part of a design is the details.
Who is your favourite designer?
I like the Lunule chair very much because it reflects the culture of my country. I identified a need in it and aimed to prevent people from getting sick. I chose this design myself.
Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?
A designer must see and experience. Without exposure to good products, a designer will never become truly great. While he may be able to solve problems, he cannot create products that are both beautiful and functional.
What are your philanthropic contributions to society as a designer, artist and architect?
In my opinion, no other word can define design better than creativity.
