Extended Interview with Oleksii Chernov

Could you please tell us about your experience as a designer, artist, architect or creator?

All that I know about the design I studied myself. From books, videos, in work. It all started with the fact that I saw photoshop and 3d max in 13 years. Since then, I have constantly developed in the areas of design. I wanted to try everything. And make sites and ZD and video. Now the whole experience helps me in my work.

How did you become a designer?

I am motivated by the fact that I create a cool product that at least slightly makes the world around better or more comfortable or beautiful.

What particular aspects of your background shaped you as a designer?

Know what you want from life. understand what you are doing All the time to learn something new

What is your growth path? What are your future plans? What is your dream design project?

A good designer makes either a beautiful product, or a convenient product or a product that makes a profit to the client. Great designer - all together in one product.

What are your advices to designers who are at the beginning of their career?

Really good Design inspires other designers, is user-friendly, brings profit to the client.

You are truly successful as a designer, what do you suggest to fellow designers, artists and architects?

It moves the whole world forward. as well as modern technology. The more around the beautiful, the more we are developed in aesthetics, the more comfortable around the less we have problems. It affects culture, our life, our world. Therefore, good design is expensive.

What is your day to day look like?

I am pleased to work with large brands that are not afraid of experiments. There is no favorite company. We will be happy to make a cool product for everyone.

How do you keep up with latest design trends? To what extent do design trends matter?

Combine all your knowledge in one project. Maybe I would make a movie. But still ahead.

How do you decide if your design is ready?

Dieter Rams, Milton Glaser, Paul Rand, Armin Hofmann. Very many people.

Would you tell us a bit about your lifestyle and culture?

A lot to learn. not only in your profession. read a lot, look a lot, look for what you get inspired every day. and do something constantly.

Would you tell us more about your work culture and business philosophy?

I would probably be a musician, but I would design as a hobby. Now the contrary
