Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
My experience with design dates back to my adolescence, I started working as an assistant in a publishing house, where I could see with great passion the different projects that had to be printed and edited, there my love for design and graphic arts in general emerged. My relationship with this beautiful world of graphic arts and design awakened my true vocation for this sensational profession. From a very young age I was able to learn about the existence of this discipline of design and it was my goal and objective in life to become one of the best exponents of design in my country, something for which I am still fighting.
Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
For several years I worked on a dependent basis for various companies, but always in my free time I carried out brand design, graphic design, editorial and packaging projects, but recently since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic, I dedicated myself full time to I design as a freelance professional. Already with a vast experience and good contacts I have managed to consolidate myself quickly, achieving important brand design projects and graphic design in general.
What is "design" for you?
For me design is an element of communication, both graphical and corporeal that transmitted a certain and specific message through its qualities and shapes to a particular audience, depending on the specific area of the design that executes it. Design in all its fields has made our world a better place and has helped facilitate our communication as beautifying objects that we know both everyday and luxury.
