Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
Hi, I’m Pinar. A designer whose love for creating began in kindergarten. With a background in literature, I’ve helped 25+ global businesses align their messaging, identity, and digital presence with strategic thinking and a fresh creative vision.
Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
I operate as a strategic design partner, working directly with visionary businesses. No middlemen, just me. I've collaborated with Silicon Valley-funded teams, luxury services from Bay Area to Stockholm, and founders across the Pacific. It's intimate partnership over transactional service you get someone who genuinely cares about your success and brings decades of visual intuition to help express what makes your brand extraordinary.
What is "design" for you?
You can just do things with design. Design shows there are possibilities, is novelty, we can discover new ways for anything in life. Design shows that dreams do come true.
What kinds of works do you like designing most?
I love designing from scratch, with a holistic approach. Thinking about every touch points. For small businesses and businesses in the growth phase.
What is your most favorite design, could you please tell more about it?
Lately, one of my favorite projects has been the brand identity and website for The Moving Concierge, a company based in Santa Cruz, California. I’ve always felt inspired by places connected to Steve Jobs, and working on something rooted in that landscape, with the dream of seeing the these places someday, added a personal layer of meaning. The project came with many unique challenges, and solving them was deeply rewarding. I took countless reflective walks, channeling David Lynch’s creative process, and had the opportunity to collaborate with talented videographers and photographers. Throughout the journey, I drew inspiration from beautifully designed homes and rich media references: each step infused with fresh perspective.
What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
Figma and Midjourney. I started using with AI for the visual identity works. Also the prompts help my clients generate for the brand consistency while the brand grows.
When do you feel the most creative?
I feel most creative when I discover and listen to a great new techno set. It puts me in a state of flow where inspiration comes naturally. That energy fuels my work, especially when I’m developing concepts for brand identities or web design. It’s in those moments that ideas connect effortlessly and I’m fully immersed in the process.
What kind of emotions do you feel when you design?
I feel inspired, curious, grateful and rarely frustrated when perfectionism kicks in!
What makes a design successful?
Planning, communciation with the client, memorable design in minds and hearts.
Can you talk a little about your design process?
In depth discovery after the onboarding, concept development, iteration and the finalising the work also communciating the client in each milestone.
