Op Art is an abstract painting calculated to create a special visual effect. Each square depicts a visual image related to basketball or a building or landmark symbolic of Mito, the host city of the games.
The animations are so full of movement that the eye cannot keep up with them.
The audience was drawn into an exciting and immersive state of mind. - Tags

- Inspiration
- The clue to this design came from Othello, a board game that originated in Mito, the host city of the B.League All-Star Game 2023. We wondered if we could create a visual that would make the audience of the All-Star Game go crazy, based on the motif of the grid-shaped Othello board and circular pieces that all Japanese are familiar with, and came up with a rotating representation of colorful buildings symbolizing Mito and portraits of players based on the above shape.
