About Wu Xing Ipaketi

Urukurikirane rw'ibikorwa bya Wu Xing rukoresha inyamaswa nk'uburyo bwo gusobanura kandi rukazishyira mu bice bitanu hakurikijwe imiterere yabyo. Muri ibyo, kugira ngo hemezwe uruzunguruko rw'ubuzima buhuriweho muri Wu Xing, abashushanya bongeye kuva y'izuba n'ikiriza muri buri gishushanyo, byerekana intangiriro n'iherezo ry'umunsi. Agasanduku k'ibishushanyo mbonera ni ko kamenyekanye nyamukuru mu miterere, kerekana imyumvire y'igitabo gifite uburyo bwo hejuru kandi gakondo. Wu Xing Ipaketi ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cya Ifeza, ishimwe ridasanzwe ry'agaciro gakomeye ritangwa ku bishushanyo byo ku rwego rwo hejuru, byiza kandi bikora ku mutima. Abegukanye Ifeza ni ibihangano by'ubuhanga bukomeye kandi bifite guhanga kwinshi, bigaragaza ubuhanga bwimbitse, impano n'ubushishozi bw'ababihanze. Wu Xing Ipaketi biteganyijwe ko izaba igihangano cy'icyitegererezo, gifite ubunyamwuga bukomeye n'udushya twimbitse. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye Ifeza ni igihangano kizwi kandi gishimwa, gifasha kugura imbibi z'ubuhanzi, ubumenyi, ubushushanyo n'ikoranabuhanga. Unique Properties: The painting box is the main structure development, showing a sense of hardcover and classic. From the book-shaped box to the unfolding to the packaging structure that independently becomes the display rack. In this special package structure, each card of this work “Wu Xing“ can be fully displayed.
Dimensions & Packaging: Outer box size: W18×L27×H4 cm; The size of the display stand after unfolding: W53×H22.5×D9 cm

Design Challenge: In order for the cards to be fully displayed at one time and to reduce the volume during packaging and transportation. We tested and adjusted many times to have been carried out on the display of the packaging and the folding structure.
Research: Our research included: 1. Communications with the client. 2. Defined the tone and manner of the brand 3. Structural packaging design, test, and revise the structure. 4. Visual design.
Inspiration: This work “Wu Xing“ presents a series of works that categorize these five elements according to their characteristics, and from my own perspective to use animals as a representative interpretation. Among them, in order to emphasize the cycle of gram and symbiosis in the five elements, I added the sunrise and the sunset in each illustration, representing the beginning and the end of the day.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2021 and finished in April 2021, in Taichung City, Taiwan.
