About Shengming Shijia Primary Function: Agasanduku k'Impano k'Icyayi

Shengming Shijia ni agasanduku k'impano k'icyayi kerekana ahantu nyaburanga h'iwabo hafitanye isano n'umuco w'icyayi. Agasanduku ko hanze kerekana ikirere kizwi nka Amariba Atatu Yerekana Ukwezi, gakozwe mu mpapuro hakoreshejwe uburyo bwo gucapa no gushyiramo ibimenyetso. Ibara ry'ingenzi ni ubururu bw'inyoni, busubiza ku mutima ijoro. Ibice bibiri byahenetswe ku gasanduku ko hanze bihuza bigakora ukwezi kuzuye mbere y'uko ipaki ifunguwe. Agasanduku ko hanze gukururwa uhereye ku mpande zombi, kikagaragaza amashusho y'ukwezi kuzengurutse ateguwe neza ku gasanduku ko imbere. Unique Properties: With tea-related local scenery represented, the tea packaging communicates the product information to users. It highlights the landmark building and reproduces the sight Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. The design of the inner box originates from the moon evoking the atmosphere of serenity&permanency and the memory of tea-tasting.
Production Technology: It adopts paper materials and printing&stamping techniques to reproduce the sight on the outer box. The main color, ink blue exactly echoes the night. The round film prints on the inner box evoke associations with the full moon for users.
Design Challenge: How to combine the visual elements and the operation, reproduce the local sight, associate it with our product and appeal to young consumers are what the difficulties of design lie at.
Research: A cultural document Records of the West Lake complied in the Qing dynasty depicted Three Pools Mirroring the Moon in such words: When the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, the moonlight passes through three stone pagodas and casts itself on the West Lake. The candle light in the pagodas, the moonlight and the glistening lake reflect each other bewildering visitors by their real face. Therefore, it was entitled the supreme fairyland in the West Lake.
Inspiration: In order to emphasize the local features of the product, it selects one of the most prominent local sights Three Pools Mirroring the Moon as the main design pattern. Besides, in order to reproduce the atmosphere of serenity, our designer consulted abundant historical documents and relevant photographs at the very beginning.
Project Duration: In August, 2020, the project was completed in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China and went on sale at the online platform of the brand.
Operation Flow: There are two hollowed halves on the outer box merging together to naturally form the full moon before unwrapping the packaging. Users can draw the outer box from two sides leaving the scene that instead of the previous hollowed halves of the moon, the neatly-arrayed full moons on the inner box gradually appear into sight.
