About Arc Umumeza Muto wa Kawa
Arc ni umumeza muto wa kawa wateguriwe ibyumba by'ubuzima bwa none. Arc yakozwe mu giti cy'imikindo (ash), gishushanyijwe mu buryo bwo gupfundika no kuboneza mu mpapuro zishyizweho hamwe (laminated bending). Uduce dutatu tugoramye duhuzwa hamwe kugira ngo dushyireho inyubako y'imisogongo itatu ifite isura y'urukondo n'ubujyakuzimu. Buri gice guhuzwa n'utundi tubiri, bityo buri gice kigomba kugira aho gahuzwa kane, kandi buri sengo (angle) igomba gucibwa mu buryo bunononsoye. Uyu mumeza ufite ubugari bwa santimetero 77, uburebure bwa santimetero 77, n'uburebure bwo hejuru bwa santimetero 48. Iyi miterere iroroshye kandi ishobora gukoreshwa nk'ibikoresho by'inzu cyangwa ikarebwa nk'igishushanyo cy'ubuhanzi. Arc Umumeza Muto wa Kawa ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cy'icyuma, ishimwe ry'agaciro ritangwa ku bishushanyo byiza bihuza ibyo umwuga n'inganda bikeneye ku bihangano byashushanyijwe neza. Abegukanye icyuma bagaragaza ubuhanga bukomeye, ubumenyi bwihariye, imyumvire y'inzobere n'ubushobozi bwo guhanga bw'ababikoze. Arc Umumeza Muto wa Kawa biteganyijwe ko izaba igihangano cyubahwa, gishimwa kandi gikundwa, gifatika kandi gifite udushya. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye icyuma gihuza uburyo bwiza bukoreshwa mu nganda kandi gifite ibiranga bya tekiniki bifite ubushobozi, bifatanye n'ubumenyi n'impano. - Unique Properties
- The ARC stripes were made and connected using laminated veneer techniques which combines three strips to form a spherical structure. Each strip has to connect with two other strips thus each strips needs to have four joints to be set precisely.Then combined joints and form a stable three-dimensional triangular body of structure. which makes the creation unique. And because of the unique shape, the Table could easily fit in contemporary, it could act as a furniture or a piece of art.

- Design Challenge
- The table has an unique structural placement which creates challenges when it’s being crafted: To form the shape and the accurate joint angle, which requires a huge amount of calculation when bending and making joint each pieces of wood, is one of the key challenges when crafting.
- Research
- This is an outstanding Table made out of hardwood with overcome various of structural challenges and woodcrafting techniques. The Table is comfortable with its own personality, unique, light in weight and with a pretty structure and appearance.
- Inspiration
- This table is inspired by ARC Guitar Stand, the first creation of ARC series which is also an original HYC creation.
ARC creation was inspired by the modern architectures and the ponderation of space design on how to composite structures that are not over-decorated and form a new pattern that is elegant and enchanted. - Project Duration
- The project started in 2021 in Taipei and completed in 2022 in Taipei.
