About Dragon Primárna funkcia: Interiérový dizajn reštaurácie

Dragon je interiér reštaurácie umiestnený vo vnútri kancelárskej budovy finančných technológií v Pekingu. Dizajn pokrýva 2500 štvorcových metrov a snaží sa o pokojnú atmosféru založenú na prírodných prvkoch. Hlavnou výzvou bolo, že 80 percent jedálenského priestoru sa nachádza pod zemou a neprijíma žiadne prirodzené svetlo. Príroda je preto simulovaná. Vodopád a jazierko sú vytvorené z liateho betónu s využitím digitálnej technológie a na hladine akoby plávali medené kačiatka. Súkromné jedálne pripomínajú tvar údolia, s rastlinami a ročnými obdobiami, pričom simulované svetlo podporuje tieto uzavreté priestory.

Unique Properties: The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

Inspiration: Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.

Operation Flow: Even though it is underground, people like its environment and feel good because of the simulation of light and the nature.
