About Hyatt Centric Gaoxin Xi'an Mural Umenie

S dĺžkou 61 metrov a výškou 5 metrov tieto nástenné maľby stelesňujú tému „Šepot hodvábu a Pieseň koní." Umelecky zobrazujú historické počiatky Hodvábnej cesty a kultúrne bohaté mesto Xi'an prostredníctvom súčasného pohľadu. Prvá časť nástennej maľby pripomínajúca abstraktnú hlavu draka čerpá inšpiráciu z motora. Druhý segment predstavuje tri dynamické kone inšpirované koňom z terakotovej armády, nefritovým koňom a kamennou sochou koňa v Xi'ane, symbolizujúce tri dynastie, ktoré v Xi'ane založili svoje hlavné mesto.

Unique Properties: The giant murals at Hyatt Centric Gaoxin Xi’an stand out as the hotel's premier art attraction. Stretching 61 meters in length and rising 5 meters in height, these murals embody the theme of "The Whisper of Silk and The Song of Horses." They artistically depict the historical origins of the Silk Road and the culturally rich city of Xi’an through a contemporary lens.

Inspiration: The first section of the mural, resembling an abstract dragon head, draws inspiration from an engine. The second segment showcases three dynamic horses inspired by the terracotta army horse, jade horse, and horse stone carving in Xi’an, symbolizing the three dynasties (Qin, Han, Tang) that established their capital in Xi’an. The strokes within the circles are not arbitrary; they are derived from the cursive script of calligraphy master Zhang Xu during the Tang dynasty. This artwork illuminates the entire architecture designed by Japanese architect Kuma Kengo, embodying the essence of the Hyatt Centric brand: "To explore."
Project Duration: The project started in December 2019 and finished in December 2023 in Xi'an.
