About Cultured Ilustracija za svilen šal

Cultured je ilustracija za svilen šal, navdihnjena s perzijskim miniaturnim slikarstvom iz trinajstega stoletja. Ilustracija uporablja žive in izrazite barve ter slogovne značilnosti risbe iz zgodovinske oblike, ponovno interpretirane skozi ploski dizajn (flat design). Poenostavljeni detajli ponujajo sodoben pogled na antično umetniško obliko. Umetniško delo je bilo ustvarjeno digitalno z vektorsko in programsko opremo za urejanje slik. Cultured je pripravljen za tisk po naročilu in ustreza vsaki standardni kvadratni velikosti tkanine ali papirja. Isto umetniško delo je mogoče uporabiti tudi za odejne šale, prevleke za blazine in uokvirjene odtise.

Unique Properties: The uniqueness of the design has been created by using the bright and bold historic features of Persian Miniature, including its special designing style and colors in the way of today’s design which is more advanced in Flat Design based illustrations. This property links the characteristics of today's fashion industry with the cultural heritage of the nations, the massive imperfection of the details is a modern interpretation of antiquity.

Production Technology: These digital designs are compatible with the operation of the print-on-demand techniques.However they designed to be used as a silk scarf illustration, but they are also can be used to produce other kind of products like Blanket-scarves, Pillow-cases, Small-throw-blankets and more, or even as a framed printed artwork to hanging on the wall.
They all have been created with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop from scratch to the final ideas.
Design Challenge: Enhancing the quality of the reference photos and matching the right colors to obtain the best result were the most challenging part of this project.
Research: For these illustrations, I researched more about the Historical Persian miniatures, and I also looked into the background of these meaningful pictures on their own.
Inspiration: The main idea of illustrations is inspired by Historical Persian Miniature from the 13th century, a very especial kind of illustration which was following common guidelines in creating style and coloring in some Middle Eastern countries. These type of illustrations are one of the best ways to express the deep meanings of cultural roots of these countries.
Project Duration: The main idea has established a year ago, it has been in the progress of working on details and enhancing the quality of the final drafts so far in the United States.
Operation Flow: These project is able to interact with a worldwide market through the Fashion industry. Fashion is a big part of our life and is generating new ideas every day around the glob, it is a strong media to keep the precious cultural trends alive and translating them to the current language of life.
