Uiga Fa'apitoa: This eatery in Tromso, Norway was to create a small oasis of brightness in the sometimes long and dreary northern days and nights. As an added requirement the client asked that we make the space into-photogenic a new, but often occurring request nowadays.
Fua & Fa'apipi'i: The total area of the space is 130 square meters.
Fa'ailoga: dessert bar, energising experience, floral ornaments, brass details, bespoke furniture
Tekonolosi Gaosiga: The materials such as brass, mirrored fixtures and glossy bespoke furniture used in the interior are reflecting the idea of "the perfect selfie" sticking to the theme of self-reflection and joy.
Lu'itau o le Mamanu: The name of the venue "Selfie" was already chosen when we got assigned to work on the interior thus the team needed to find a way not only to give guests a beautiful set when someone is taking their picture but also to facilitate the taking of selfies as much as possible.
Su'esu'ega: We approached the design with a concept to create a decor with bright, warm tones using marble, brass, and gold-toned mirrors as well as natural and warm textures and a lot of greenery, something which the city lacks due to the harsh climate.
Fa'aosofia: The primary inspiration for space came from the already chosen name "Selfie" which proposed a joyful and fun look at the dessert bar concept, creating a fun and bubbly interior, curated by reflections, color, and brass finishings.
Umi o le Poloketi: The project started in January 2019 and was finished in September 2019 in Tromso, Norway.
Fa'agasologa o Galuega: The colorful features in the space are molded to fit the user's needs in order to create an energizing experience.
