Qingyu Du

Joy Studio was founded in 2020, comprising two members, Du Qingyu and Zhang Jun, who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and Pratt Institute. Over the years we have served in multiple fields including fast-moving consumer goods, automobiles, and IT, involving brands such as Nestle Coffee, Hilton, Mobike, Didi, Pico, JD, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lenovo, etc., from which we have gained rich project experience in brand design, packaging design, IP, and UI design.

Qingyu Du stands among the winners of the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition, with winning entries in Ata Fa'atusa and Afifi. A record of 3 A' Design Awards, including the A' Design Award Apamemea, underlines the creative excellence of Qingyu Du. Repeated wins in the Ata Fa'atusa category underline the consistent quality of the work of Qingyu Du. The verdict on the work of Qingyu Du came from an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and journalists, who scored anonymized entries against predetermined criteria.

The awards were granted between the 2024 - 2025 and 2025 - 2026 editions of the A' Design Award & Competition, a span that reflects sustained creative excellence. On the world design rankings of Designers.org, Qingyu Du stands at position 3,326, and at position 1,236 among the designers of Saina.
