About Radiomural Shaqada Ugu Muhiimsan: Sawir Derbi
Qoraalka Buugga: Radiomural waa sawir derbi loo sameeyay degmada Langwasser ee magaalada Nuremberg. Naqshadu waxay soo nooleynaysaa miisaanka isbeddelka raadiyaha Grundig ee 1970s iyo 1980s, iyadoo xasuusinaysa raadiyaha markii hore laga soo saari jiray degmadan. Derbiga la rinjiyeeyay wuxuu dhererkiisu yahay 25 mitir, dhumucdiisuna tahay 2.5 mitir. Rinji madow iyo caddaan ah ayaa lagu daray sprey iftiimaya (photoluminescent), iyadoo istaanshiilo (stencils) loo isticmaalay xarfaha. Habeenkii xarfuhu way iftiimaan, taasoo ka dhigaysa sawirka derbiga mid u eg raadiye furan. Magacyada meelaha ku qoran miisaanka waxay calaamadeeyaan meelaha caadiga ah ee dadka deggan ay ka door bideen, iyo dalalka ay ka soo jeedaan.

- Unique Properties
- Picture of an old Grundig radio in Nurnberg.
The mural visually resembles the scale of the radio from the 70s / 80s, with letters covered with photoluminescent paint, giving the effect of glowing in the dark, which resembles a radio turned on.
The radio is 'turned on' the Langwasser district (Gemeinschaftshaus) in Nuremberg, the other place-names on the radio scale are the residents' favorite places characteristic for this district (selected by voting; marked in dark green) and their countries of origin (light green).
The project is a local – district identity, located on the facade of a culture center in the center of Langwasser, allows locating popular culture and entertainment centers, and also commemorates points on the map relevant for the district.
The mural was made as part of the "Betonliebe - StreetArt for Langwasser" project in cooperation with the Nowa Huta Cultural Center in Krakow. - Dimensions & Packaging
- Wall size: 25 meters long, 2,5 meters height. Black paint, white and photoluminescent sprays. Stencils used to paint letters.

- Production Technology

- Design Challenge
- Photoluminescence effect. Research in cultural and postindustrial districts similar to Zablocie in Cracow in Poland, where retro-radios were produced in a communist era.
- Inspiration
- Radiomural made in Zablocie district in Cracow, Poland - my previous project of a district identity, where old radios Unitra were produced during the communism time. Radiomural in Nuremberg is based on radios from Grundig, which were produced in Langwasser – the district where the mural was created.
- Project Duration
- September 2019, Nürnberg, Germany
- Operation Flow
- The mural will be visible at night for some time thanks to UV lamps, like an old radio switched on with its greenish light, thanks to the photoluminescence paint glowing in darkness. People can illuminate the mural with flashlights.
