My Moonfly është një kuti dhurate e projektuar për ëmbëlsirat e hënës që paraqiten gjatë Festivalit të Mesvjeshtës. Dizajni përshkruan Pallatin e Hënës të mitologjisë kineze, me pavijone dhe salla të formuara nga gdhendja tredimensionale e letrës në shumë shtresa. Një dritë brenda hënës shkëlqen përmes shtresave të gdhendura, duke krijuar modele ndryshuese të dritës dhe hijes. Kutia mban gjashtë ëmbëlsira hëne dhe një kuti me pirunë e thika. Përdoret letër ekologjike, me relief dhe stampim me ar. Me përmasa 242 me 242 me 75 milimetra, kutia mund të ruhet si një dekorim i ndriçuar në rafte ose në tavolina.

Unique Properties: This is a Mid-autumn moon cake gift box, which presents the Moon Palace in Chinese traditional mythology. The gift box applies a multi-layered 3D paper carving technique to elaborately carve the details of pavilions and palaces. There is a light in the moon, which will beam through the 3D paper carving graphics on the side to display the changes of light and shadow. It offers a subtle yet sentimental experience that highlights the festive air.
Dimensions & Packaging: 242x242x75mm
Production Technology: It adopts 3D paper carving and eco-friendly paper material. It applies special paper with embossing and gold stamping techniques to perk up.
Design Challenge: The difficulty lies in how to differentiate this packaging from others. The designers select the brand-new illustration and outstanding interactive experience. When the light is on, the light beams through the paper carving graphics to show the interaction between light and shadow.
Research: The Moon Palace is the palace in the moon according to Chinese mythology. Against the backdrop of the popularity of the Chinese retro style, the young generation adores these elements. The illustration showcases the designers’ imagination of the Moon Palace, by which the designers hope users can get together and reunite at the Mid-Autumn Festival. Thus, this gift box promotes the traditional culture during its selling.
Inspiration: It was inspired by paper carving, an artistic expression based on the light that shows the virtuous interaction between tradition and fashion. The illustration design, derived from Chinese traditional poems, expresses the longing for the Moon Palace and the craving for the reunion.
Project Duration: This product was started in Shenzhen, China in June 2020, and was finished in Shenzhen, China in July 2020.
Operation Flow: Users firstly open the lid and take out the six moon cakes and a box containing forks and knives. Then, users can switch on the light and place the gift box on bookshelves or tables for decoration.
