Klaus Kirchner

Klaus enjoys working with reclaimed home grown timber, wood which has already ended their active life and in that way no harm to living trees is done.
Using what nature provides and giving it a second life as an art piece is very rewarding.
He lets wood speak for itself, and when suitable applies texture and/or color to it.
The Shape is the most important element in his work, as it is what the eye will first react to.
Haptic follows, if both the elements are in harmony, he feels happy.
