About Parachute Rafu ya Ukutani
Parachute ni rafu ya ukutani iliyotengenezwa kwa bati la chuma. Sehemu inapotumika, ubao wa sehemu hiyo hushuka chini na kuning'inia mahali pake. Ubao unaoning'inia hushikilia koti, jarida au vitu vinavyofanana na hivyo na kuvizuia visianguke. Uso wake una mistari ya rangi iliyotenganishwa na nafasi nyembamba, hivyo rafu hii hukumbusha mwonekano wa kisanii wa parachuti ya kisasa na inaweza pia kuonekana kama sanaa ya ukutani. Parachute ina upana wa milimita 790, kina cha milimita 30 na urefu wa milimita 220. Jina lake linaunganisha dhana za kulinda na kuanguka.

With the colored stripes separated by thin spaces, the graphic design is reminiscent of a modern parachute; this theme is transformed, in a recognisable and aesthetically successful manner, into an original shelf design. - Design Challenge

- When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to me to look up the word "Parachute."
It seems that the name "parachute" comes combining the Italian "parare" (to protect) with the French "chute" (to fall).
I thought that was a rather fine name.
I tried to think of devices that protect against falling.
When in use, the plank for the section being used falls, and hangs there.

- The project started in April 2017 in Tokyo and finished in October 2018 in Tokyo, and Yusuke Watanabe was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in April 2018.
