"ወለዲ ይንበሩ" ኣብ ልምዳዊ ስፌት ሃን ዝተሰረተ ዓይነት ፊደል ኮይኑ፡ ንድኻ ዝኾነት ዓዲ ንምሕጋዝ ዝተፈጥረ እዩ። ዓዲ ጂንሊንግ ልዕሊ ክልተ ሽሕ ቆልዑ፡ ብወለዶም ስራሕ ንምንዳይ ዝተራሕቁ ዝተሓደጉ ዘለውዋ ዓዲ ኮይና፡ ብዙሓት ካብቶም ነበርቲ እውን ብጥበብ ስፌት ሃን ተመክሮ ዘለዎም እዮም። እቶም ናይ ከባቢ ውጽኢት ስፌት ግን፡ እቶም ስእልታት ኣብ ውሽጢ ሚእቲ ዓመታት ብዙሕ ለውጢ ስለ ዘይረኸቡ፡ ኣብ ዕዳጋ ብግቡእ ኣይሽየጡን ነበሩ። ስለዚ፡ እቶም ክላሲካል ዝኾኑ ባህርያት ስፌት ብምጽራይን ብምድህሳስን፡ ናብ ዘመናዊ ቅርጺ ፊደላት ተለወጡ፣ እዞም ፊደላት ድማ በቶም ናይ ከባቢ ሰፋይቲ ብኢዶም ይስፈዩ። ዕላማኡ ድማ፡ ኣታዊ ምፍጣርን፡ ነዚ ጥበብ እዚ ብዘመናዊ ናይ ራእይ ቋንቋ ንዝመጽእ ወለዶ ምትሕልላፍን እዩ።

- Unique Properties
- Jinling Village is a poverty-stricken village with More than 2,000 “left-behind” children. When the designer got there, he was surprised to find that all the local people had mastered certain Han Embroidery skills, but their product not sell well because of the old fashion style. So he worked with the Hubei Han Embroidery Association to help revive the local Han Embroidery culture.

- Here is a breakdown of several classic elements from traditional Chinese embroidery patterns. They are abstracted according to modern aesthetics, to reconstruct classic elements, bring out the culture hidden behind the patterns, to master the unchangeable pattern combinations of traditional Chinese embroidery, and produce a brand-new visual language. Creating a typeface composed of extracted Han Embroidery elements and ask the local poverty-stricken embroidery workers to embroider the letters of this font through the techniques of Han Embroidery.
- Research
- Like most handicrafts, Han embroidery has several problems, for example, a long production cycle, a long time cost, low economic benefit, and poor quality. Also, the traditional Han Embroidery patterns have undergone little to no innovation over the past hundred years, so they can’t meet standards of the modern aesthetic, resulting in low consumer recognition.
- Inspiration
- In addition to two years of commercial operations, the designer has created a modern typeface, on a trial basis, by extracting the elements of traditional embroidery, deconstructing their texture, and the traditional Jing-Chu Culture, he promoted the inheritance of the old embroidery on the verge of extinction in a modern aesthetic manner, Inheriting tradition and carry on this embroidery craft that is on the verge of extinction by a new typeface, so as to pass down the craft in a modern language.
