Book Text: ሴንያ ኣብ ደገባይ ቀሪብ ንሓደ ንእሽቶ ናይ ምስሉ ቁሸት ኣብ ሰሜናዊ ኖርወይ እትርከብ ናይ ስድራ ቤት ካቢን እያ። እዚ ዲዛይን ካብ ልምዲ ሳሚ ናይ ሄለር ዝተበገሰ እዩ፣ ኣብ ትሕቲ ዓበይቲ ኣኻውሕ መጠለላት ዝሰርሑ ኣብ ዝነበሩ ልምድታት ተመርኩስ። ናይ ህንጻ እቲ ኣካላዊ ቅርጺ ከም ዓይነት እምኒ ተሰርሑ፣ ብመስመራት ንዓራታት ኣኻውሕ ዝሰዓቡ ኮይኖም፣ ከምኡ’ውን ንመሬት ገጹ ዝጠመተ ሰፊሕ ፓኖራማዊ መስኮት ኣለዎ። ናይ ዕንጨይቲ ፍርንቲ ብድቁቕ ሓመድ ሕብሪ ተለቢጡ፣ ምስ ከባቢኡ ንኽሓብር። ቀንዲ መእተዊ ኣብ ውስጢ ብዙሓት ናይ ህንጻ ብዝሓ ተፈልፍሉ ኮይኑ፣ ሓደ ዝተጠለለ ግዳማዊ ቦታ ይፈጥር። ብውሽጢ፣ ናይ ጽንሲ ግድግዳታት፣ ናይ ኦክ ደረቅቲ ከምኡ’ውን ናይ ዕንጨይቲ ስሊት ዝበሎ ደረት ንሓደ ናይ ባዓቲ ቦታ ይኸበቡ።

Senja Primary Function: ካቢን ናይ ነሓስ ሽልማት A' Design Award ዝዓወተ እዩ፣ ብፈጠራ፣ ርእሰ ሓይልን ስቕታን ዝፍለዩ ብልጫ ዘለዎም ዲዛይናት ዝወሃብ ኣዚዩ ክቡር ኣፍልጦ። ዘዓወቱ ነሓስ ሰፊሕ ተሞክሮ፣ ምሕሳብን ርእሰ ምምዕባልን ዲዛይነራቶም ዘረጋግጹ ኣዚዮም ክኢላታትን ብዘደንቕ መገዲ ፈጠራውያንን ኣርቴፋክትታት እዮም። Senja Primary Function: ካቢን ብዙሕ ዝተመነየ፣ ዝደነቐን ዝፈተዎን ብኣገዳሲ መገዲ ሞያውን ሓድሽን ኣቕሓ ክኾን ይጽበ። እዚ ዝዓወተ ዲዛይን ናይ ነሓስ ሽልማት A' Design Award ኣብ ጥበብ፣ ሳይንስ፣ ዲዛይንን ቴክኖሎጂን ዝበለጹ ልምድታት ዘጣምር፣ ንዝርዝር ብዝህቦ ኣቓልቦ ድማ ዝበለጸ እዩ። Senja Primary Function: ካቢን ድልየታት ብጽባቐ የማልእ፣ ንድሌታት ይትንክፍ፣ ንስምዒታት የማርኽን ሕቶ ድማ የሰሕብን።

- The cabin is located near a small fishing village called Hamn. On this site the client wanted a family cottage with panoramic views to Senja's stunning mountains and nature.

- The cabin has a wooden facade painted in dark grey to naturally blend in with the surrounding nature. The windows are made of wood/aluminium with details in steel to protect from the harsh winterstorms. The main entrance in carved into the building mass and creates a sheltered space to relax.
Inside the cabin the walls are covered with pine boards, oak floors and a 45x45 wooden slated ceiling. This creates a warm and cozy atmosphere to relax by the fireplace.

- By studying old Sami building traditions, we found the ancient tradition of “Heller” where Sami*s would find shelter and build a cottage under large rocks. By shaping the building envelope like a stone with natural lines similar to the mountains, one could make a large panorama window in this shape. The project then becomes a "rock with a view" that settles naturally in the terrain - hidden by the forest from neighbours and the main road. Still on the inside of the cabin you feel like being part of nature.

- The cabin is designed specifically to open ut to nature with panoramic views to the surrounding mountains. As the the weather can change drastically in hours it is important to have the option of both a sheltered outdoor space - and a climatized indoor space where you feel part of nature. At the dinner table, one gathers the family with a view a panoramic view of the mountains - the lines between inside and outside have been blurred and the space changes in tune with the light and landscape.
