About Alpha Series Ang Shaver
Ang serye ng Alpha ay isang compact, semi-proffesional shaver na maaaring hawakan ang mga pangunahing gawain para sa pangangalaga sa mukha. Gayundin isang produkto na nag-aalok ng mga solusyon sa kalinisan na may makabagong diskarte na sinamahan ng magagandang aesthetics. Ang pagiging simple, minimalism at pag-andar na sinamahan ng madaling pakikipag-ugnayan ng gumagamit ay nagtatayo ng mga pundasyon ng proyekto. Ang kasiya-siyang karanasan ng gumagamit ay ang susi. Ang mga tip ay madaling makuha sa shaver at ilagay sa seksyon ng imbakan. Ang pantalan ay idinisenyo upang singilin ang shaver at paglilinis ng mga tip na suportado ng UV Light sa loob ng seksyon ng imbakan.

Ang Alpha Series Ang Shaver ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal, isang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga mahuhusay na disenyong tumutugon sa mga propesyonal at pang-industriyang kinakailangang inaasahan sa mga mahusay na pagkakadisenyong likha. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bakal ay nagpapakita ng dakilang husay, mataas na espesyalisasyon, dalubhasang pag-unawa at kakayahang malikhain ng kanilang mga lumikha. Inaasahang ang Alpha Series Ang Shaver ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na likhang praktikal at makabago. - The main aim was to design a compact, semi-proffesional shaver that can handle the basic tasks for facial care. Also a product that offers hygienic solutions with innovative approach combined with beautiful aesthetics. Joyful user experience was the key.

- Design Challenge
- The sketch ideation was the most challenging part of this project. I had to put too much effort for sketching process to be able to refine the design and come up with the most unique, minimal and simple form solutions.
- Research
- The brief was very broad at the start. It was to design a unique personal care product for the brand Grundig. I started research process with trend analysis and market opportunities. The process also supported with focus groups with man aged between 18-50 to be able to define the existing problems with the shavers and consumer demands.
- Inspiration
- Providing hygienic and joyful user experience was the inspiration for the idea behind the project. Design language is completely inspired from Scandinavian design characteristics. Simplicity, minimalism and functionality combined with easy user interaction built the fundamentals of the product.
- Project Duration
- The project started in May 2019 in Istanbul/Turkey and lasted until the end of June 2019.
- Operation Flow
- The only button on the body of the shaver covered by led light is the interaction point of the product. It simply turns on/off the device but the led gives feedback about battery. When its charged and ready to use it lights white, when the charge is critical the led turns in to red, and also it blinks in red when its off charge. The dock is designed to charging the shaver and cleaning the tips supported with UV Light inside. Tips can be easily taken off the shaver and placed in to the storage section. The storage allows the product to be completely clean and tidy.
