About Literkolekcja Photobook

Ang Literkolekcja ay isang photobook na nagdodokumento ng ekspresyon ng titik sa pampublikong espasyo, kabilang ang lettering, typography, at calligraphy. Ang mga larawan ay kinuha sa loob ng isang dekada sa maraming bahagi ng mundo, pangunahin gamit ang mobile phone, at sadyang pinanatiling raw, walang artipisyal na estetika. Sa cover, isang talaan ng nilalaman ang dumadaan sa gulugod at umaabot pa sa labas ng bleed. Ipinapakita ng mga teksto ang mga inskripsiyon sa mga larawan kasama ang lahat ng pagkakamali. Sadyang hindi regular ang typesetting, na sumasalamin sa mga kapintasan ng mga titik na ipinapakita. Ang Swiss binding ay nagbibigay-daan sa album na mahigang patag.

Ang Literkolekcja Photobook ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal, isang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga mahuhusay na disenyong tumutugon sa mga propesyonal at pang-industriyang kinakailangang inaasahan sa mga mahusay na pagkakadisenyong likha. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bakal ay nagpapakita ng dakilang husay, mataas na espesyalisasyon, dalubhasang pag-unawa at kakayahang malikhain ng kanilang mga lumikha. Inaasahang ang Literkolekcja Photobook ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na likhang praktikal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan ng industriya at may mahuhusay na katangiang teknikal na may kasamang kaalaman at talento. Ang Literkolekcja Photobook ay iginagalang dahil sa kaingatan nito at idinisenyo upang maghatid ng mga pagpapabuti sa kalidad ng buhay na tumutulong gawing mas mabuting lugar ang mundo.

Unique Properties: On the cover there is a table of contents passing through the spine and extending beyond the bleed. The texts reproduce the inscriptions on the photos with all errors. The text is also deliberately agitated, which reflects the nature of the imperfections of the typography of the photos.

Production Technology: The Swiss binding allows the album to be laid out flat, which facilitates the reception of photographs.
Research: Another aspect of the project is the desire to share the documented forms of character-letters in different cultures of the world - to inspire students of art and graphic design and typeface designers who, perhaps under the influence of photos, will create new typefaces.
Inspiration: "Litercollection" is a project presenting various manifestations of letter expression in public space: lettering, typography and calligraphy: from street signs, "street art" and street art, through typeface design and typography in industrial design, advertising and visual identification, to art based on on the letter (e.g. lettering installations) and calligraphy in various forms of expression.
The project is based on own photographic documentation made over the last decade, mainly using a mobile phone, in various places around the world and in various natural circumstances.
The photographs are deliberately raw in expression, without artificial aesthetics.
The constantly growing collection of photographic documentation currently includes about 800 photos taken in various parts of the world. Examples of lettering come mainly from Poland and Europe, but also from Arab countries. The author documents all manifestations of typography in various cultures of the world - from professional graphic designs to random combinations. The photos themselves and properly juxtaposed create a story, a narrative.
