About Aesthetic of Modern Forest Primary Function: Disenyo ng Interior ng Tirahan

Aesthetic of Modern Forest ay ang disenyo ng mga ibinabahaging pampublikong lugar ng isang gusaling tirahan sa Hsinchu, Taiwan. Ang lobby ay gumagamit ng iregular na harapan at isang hinati na kisame upang ipahiwatig ang imahe ng isang kagubatan. Ang mga bintanang mula sa sahig hanggang kisame ay nag-uugnay sa loob at sa tanawing panlabas. Ang mga hugis-batong sopa na may iba't ibang laki ay inilagay sa harap ng mga bintana. Ang front desk ay may iregular na hugis na hiwa na may pagtatapos ng marmol na tumutugma sa materyal ng dingding. Kabilang sa mga materyales ang metal, wood veneer, ceramic tiles at bato. Pinapaboran ng disenyo ang pagiging simple, tibay at mababang pangangailangan sa pagmementina.

Unique Properties: The lobby design adopts an irregular facades and the divided ceiling to present the image of forest, using minimalist German-style floor to ceiling window. The front desk design uses an irregular cut mass shape and arranged with marble finish to have a good correlation with the wall material. Various sizes of stone shaped couches are arranged in front of the floor to ceiling window, and together with the exterior landscape they form a natural Zen meaning. The overall design emphasizes functionality and practicality, pursuing simplicity and low maintenance also durability.
Dimensions & Packaging: The doors on the public space are hidden in the irregular division of the facade, moreover the unique lighting design makes the entire space appears to be spacious and very modern looking. The gym area uses warm color tone, and the entire wooden floors up to the walls match the wooden louvers of the ceiling, at the same time mirrors are used to give bigger space effect .The modern book wall as a partition in order to create a semi transparent reading area. The orange leather chair is matched with the main grey stone brick wall also the paintings and the fireplace bring out a noble and elegant feeling.

Production Technology: The entire space materials are dominated by metal and wood veneer, while the walls are covered by high grade ceramic tiles and stone materials. Besides the light colored walls in lobby area, front desk and the couches, the light color tone is mainly used; the other space elements are using dark color to bring out the classy texture. Furthermore, the lighting of each space also uses customized durable and environmentally friendly LED light. The lobby floor uses dark marble stone, while the gym and reading area use wooden floors.
Design Challenge: How to present the forest vocabulary in a modern way is a challenge for the design team. During the implementation, the construction team took a lot of effort with the usage of irregular cutting materials since it needs to be accurate.
Research: This apartment building is facing the corner of Touqian River, so that the design is expected to respond to the outdoor natural environment and use modern style to create a comfortable and relaxing yet elegant public space for the residents. Since the residents are IT engineers, and professionals, the design team proposes a simple yet elegant design style, avoids gorgeous and complicated elements, and uses clean and simple design techniques, combined with appropriate materials to create durable and low maintenance public space.
Inspiration: As the site is located in Hsinchu city with windy environment, so that the public space on the top floor has a minimalist design style. Around 70% to 80% of the residents are professionals who work in the science park, at the age of around 30, 40 years old. After busy at work, they admire to get back to a simple yet elegant life, so that the space design is inspired by the modern German style. The design team avoids using complicated design, also not integrating gorgeous decoration or luxurious classical elements, yet shaping the space with elegance atmosphere that meets the expectation of the residents.
Project Duration: The project finished in Oct 2019 in Hshinchu, Taiwan.
Operation Flow: Bianco carrara is looking for suitable pattern and breadboard,The spilt joint of black mirrors and iron sheet also need to be accurate.The design of geometric cabinet has many sharp angle and also need to be accurate and sanforized.
