About Otsuchi ئۈستەل چىرىغى

ئوتسۇچى (Otsuchi) — ياپونىيەنىڭ ئىۋاتې ۋىلايىتىدىكى ئوتسۇچى بازىرىدىن ئېلىنغان بۇغا تېرىسىدىن ياسالغان ئۈستەل چىرىغى. بۇ بازار 2011-يىلىدىكى چوڭ شەرقىي ياپونىيە يەر تەۋرىشى كەلتۈرۈپ چىقارغان تسۇنامى ئاپىتىگە ئۇچرىغان. كېيىن بۇغىلارنىڭ سانى كۆپىيىپ، ئاھالە سانى ئازلىغانلىقتىن يەرلىك زىرائەتلەر زىيانغا ئۇچرىغان. يەرلىك ئوۋچىلار زىيانداش سۈپىتىدە ئوۋلانغان بۇغىلاردىن پايدىلىنىش ئۈچۈن ياۋا ھايۋان گۆشى تىجارىتىنى باشلىغان. بۇ چىراغ بۇغا تېرىسى بىلەن قاپلانغان 3D بېسىلغان قۇرۇلمىدىن ياسالغان بولۇپ، ئۇنىڭ تېكىستۇرىسى تىرىك ھايۋاننىڭ شەكلىنى ئەسلىتىدۇ. بۇ لايىھە بۇغىنىڭ ھاياتىغا ھۆرمەت بىلدۈرىدۇ ھەمدە تىنچ-خاتىرجەم بىر تۇيغۇ ئاتا قىلىدۇ.

Unique Properties: This table lamp exists
in the space between design and art.
It resembles a light fixture, yet also conveys the vitality of an animal.
Its texture evokes the breath of a living deer.

Production Technology: Crafted from 3D printed structure coverd by deer leather.
Inspiration: The Table lamp is made from a deer leather captured in Otsuchi, Iwate, Japan. Otsuchi was destroyed by the devastating tsunami caused by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.
Our crop has been damaged due to a significant increase in number of deer, while the population of local residents declined. Local hunters started
the Gibier business to carry on the life of a deer that was hunted as vermin. This lamp was created in a hope to carry on deer's life and create a feeling of peace to the user.
Project Duration: The project started in Apr. 2023 in Otsuchi, Iwate and finished in Jan, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2024.
Operation Flow: This table lamp conveys an organic, animalistic impression to people,
and also gives a wild impression.
This lamp, which makes you feel the vitality of a deer that once lived,
gives people the warmth of life.
