About Wood and Tree Plakat

«Yaghach we Derex» — Yaponiyening Tokyo shehiride ötküzülgen mémarliq séminari üchün yaritilghan plakat. Séminarning témisi bolsa klassik matériyal bolghan yaghachning zamaniwiy mémarchiliqtiki yéngi ishlitilishidur. Bu plakat klassik derex halqiliri süritini imitatsiye qilish üchün zamaniwiy grafik tilidin paydilan'ghan. Nusxini shekillendürüsh üchün sani, qélinliqi, egriliki we renggi oxshimaydighan siziqlar sinaqtin ötküzülgen. Netijide qurulush jehettin matématikiliq bolsimu, tebiiy güzellik yenila saqlan'ghan. Plakatning ölchimi 210 gerdür 297 millimétr. U kirish éghizigha qoyulghan bolup, ziyaretchiler kichik waraqlarni élishqa muyesser bolghan.

Unique Properties: It's a poster for an architecture seminar which is called "Wood & Tree" in Tokyo, Japan. The theme is about new possibility of application of wood which is a kind of classic material on modern architecture. So modern graphic language is used to simulate classic drawing to express annual ring. The main vision is mathematical but still can feel natural beauty.

Production Technology: Hundreds of annual ring's photo was collected as a reference. Adobe Illustrator is the main software to complete the poster.
Design Challenge: The hardest part is using mathematical graphic to simulate nature shape such as annual ring and expressing both aesthetics at the same time.
Research: The number, thickness, curvature, color, etc. of the lines have been extensively tested to express annual ring.
Inspiration: The inspiration is from annual ring. Wood is a kind of material without life. But different from other material, people can still feel vitality by the smell and texture and so on. The annual ring is the evidence which can prove it was lived as a tree. And the beautiful curve is intoxicating.
Project Duration: The project started in Aug 2018 and finished in September 2019 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in gallery of Myojyuji Saruein September 2018.
Operation Flow: It was displayed at the entrance, visiter could take the small flyers by themselves to understand the theme of the exhibition.
