About Modular Zone Матрац

Modular Zone — це матрац, розроблений для персоналізованого досвіду сну. Замість традиційного пінополіуретану та пружин у матраці використовуються ґратчасті пружини, надруковані на 3D-принтері, та секції з піни на біологічній основі. Три базові модулі та додатковий підсилювальний модуль можна комбінувати для регулювання жорсткості. Внутрішні датчики відстежують позу під час сну та частоту серцевих скорочень, а модель штучного інтелекту надає рекомендації щодо конфігурації. Прохолодна дихаюча тканина з мікроканалами для повітря покращує відведення тепла. Амортизаційна структура натхненна автомобільними системами підвіски та дозволяє здійснювати локальний ремонт.

Unique Properties: This innovative product transforms the mattress from a static piece of furniture into a dynamically adaptive, continuously optimized intelligent sleep system. It integrates a modular design that allows flexible customization with AI powered sleep analysis, complemented by the exclusive cool breathable fabric, providing a new future proof personalized sleep solution for users.

Production Technology: The mattress adopts independent bio based foam compartments and 3D printed lattice springs instead of traditional foam and springs.
The aerodynamic cool fabric and three layer weaving technology result in horizontal micro channels and biomimetic leaf vein convection air ducts, forming a capillary like mesh structure. This enables instant coolness upon contact and continuous heat dissipation, improving breathability and heat dissipation efficiency for a cool, comfortable sleeping experience.
Design Challenge: The challenge was achieving both personalization and sustainability. To address this, the product utilizes a recyclable and reprintable bio based polymer to reduce the carbon footprint. It incorporates a modular design that allows for localized upgrades and repairs, effectively extending its service life. In production, 3D printing technology enables on demand manufacturing, minimizing material waste at the source to ease environmental burden.
Research: There is a cross industry parallel between the driving or riding experience of automobiles and the sleeping experience of mattresses, particularly in terms of support and cushioning. Therefore, this product introduces the concept of high performance automotive suspension systems, creating a cushioning structure analogous to an air suspension system through 3D printing technology. The incorporation of a modular design results in a high tech mattress that supports firmness customization.
Inspiration: The mattress, inspired by the streamlined silhouettes and futuristic aesthetics of sports cars, gives a sense of dynamism and technology. Its side fluid geometric lines and front geometric patterns subtly integrate the first letter of the brand name, enhancing brand recognition while serving as a functional ventilation structure, perfectly balancing practicality and aesthetic appeal. The color scheme of black and orange leads to a strong visual impact, presenting a modern, avant garde aesthetic.
Project Duration: The project started in Guangzhou in April 2025.
Operation Flow: The 3D printed lattice springs offer three basic module options and an optional reinforcement module. Users can freely combine these modules to customize mattress firmness, enjoying a tailored sleeping experience.
Internal sensors dynamically monitor information like sleep posture and heart rate. The data driven AI model continuously learns user habits and delivers personalized recommendations based on spinal alignment and BMI change, helping users optimize their custom configurations.
