About Winter Navel Gói Màu Cam

Thiết kế này nhằm quảng bá cho loại cam có tên là hải quân mùa đông, được sản xuất từ một trang trại hữu cơ. Bộ sản phẩm bao gồm hai kích thước hộp bìa cứng, thẻ thông tin, phong bì đựng cam. Hải quân mùa đông chỉ có thể được chọn sau lễ rửa tội của bốn mùa. Thách thức của thiết kế là minh họa tầm quan trọng của thói quen sinh trưởng kéo dài và hình thái khác nhau của cây cam trong suốt bốn mùa trên bao bì. Nhóm thiết kế đã đưa ra một bản vẽ lấy cảm hứng từ câu chuyện về cây jack và cây đậu. Nhấn mạnh vào khái niệm về sự hài hòa giữa thiên nhiên và con người.

Unique Properties: The design is to promote the orange, named winter naval, produced from an organic farm in southern china. the package includes two sizes of cardboard boxes, information cards, envelopes for orange peelers and the protection sheets for oranges.
Dimensions & Packaging: this package design was manufactured in two different sizes:
1. 5kg pack, 360mm x 263mm x 141mm
2. gift pack, 260mm x 260mm x 80mm

Production Technology: the illustration on the package was hand drawn with watercolor and color pencils, then scanned into photoshop to future modification. it then combine with pattern and logo generated by computer.
Design Challenge: Rather than using simple computer drawing for the package, we choose to use hand drawing to demonstrate the spirit of craftsman. the winter naval orange can only be picked after the baptism of the four seasons, client asked to promote this feature to customers through package design, that's why we use hand drawing and illustrate different form of orange tree through four seasons.
Research: we did research on how winter navel grow in different seasons and what does an orange tree looks like during various stage. meanwhile we studied watercolor drawing techniques in order to produce vivid image for package design.
Inspiration: Our aim is to illustrate the significance of winter navel's elongated growth routine and the prosperous state of the farm. To redefine the traditional appearance of agricultural products, the design is created with vibrant energy in response to the taste to younger generations. The twisted and intertwine stems of an orange tree depicted in four seasons is inspired by the tale of jack and the beanstalk. It suggests a powerful growth of the orchard, and emphases harmony between nature and mankind.
Project Duration: The project started in June 2019 in Hangzhou and finished in July 2019 in Hangzhou, and was manufactured in Guangzhou in August 2019.
Operation Flow: we use watercolor as main tool to illustrate the growth process of winter navel. we also demonstrate the beauty of farmland scenery.
